CHRISTMAS GREETING FROM COM0X, BRITISH COLUMBIA Hard to believe that it’s time to write the Christmas letter. Wasn’t it just the other day that we sent the 2024 edition? However, we know that time does indeed fly by. Let’s look at the family news. The major news from Edmonton was the arrival of the first of the fourth generation - Daphne Eleanor - who arrived on February 12th - which is pretty special. Our first sighting was on the Fall when we had a major Thanksgiving get together in Victoria. We met in Alexander’s basement apartment which was large enough to seat everyone around three tables, Andrew and Debbie, Erin,Todd and Daphne, Alexander and Kyra and her parents from Elie, Manitoba, Tim and Aileen, Kieran, Tristan and Clare. The majority met the next day at Tristan and Clare’s apartment. We had two major trips. The first was to see David and Sam in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. T o restore the image click outside the image MONDAY May 12th In May we had a major trip that saw us visiting David and Sam in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a stopover in Istanbul, Turkey and visits with Hilary at London Heathrow, to Wendy, Peter, Elizabeth, Megan and Kathryn in Harpenden, Val, Paul, Ella, Toby and Jean in Balsall Common, Barbara, Derry, Simon and Shelagh Webb in Sheffield and Anthony in Derby. It was a morning start from Comox with Air Canada Express to Vancouver for a connection with Air Canada to London, Heathrow.
